Our bodies are meant to move, not sit stationary for 8 hours every day. Sitting is a recipe for neck and back pain, decreased mobility, poor balance and muscle stiffness.

Follow the tips below for mindful sitting. A proper seated position can help promote a healthy spine.

1 - Keep your ears, shoulders and
hips aligned.

2 - Maintain the natural low back
curve.

3 - Keep your hips and knees at 90°

4 - Evenly distribute your weight
over both hips (don’t cross your
legs!)

5 - Keep both feet flat on the ground
(see above 😉)

6 - Keep your forearms parallel with
the floor.

7 - Your computer monitor should be
18-24” from your face.

8 - Make sure your head is not
protruding forward (forward head
posture).

9 - Get up and move every 20
minutes or so.
