Month three of big business ownership!!

I recently had a member ask me:
“Are you doing this all by yourself?” — Yep.
“You don’t have a business partner?” — Nope.
“You don’t have a man helping you?” — lol!

That conversation hit me hard, because it reminded me of a lesson I had just learned. For years, I wasted time waiting — waiting for a business partner to come along, waiting for someone to guide me, waiting for a man to be in my life who could somehow hold my hand through the process of building my dreams.

After a lot of mistakes, a lot of sleepless nights, and a lot of moments questioning myself, I realized something: NO ONE was coming to save me. I was alone. And the only person who could give me the confidence, the direction, the drive, and the push I needed… was the person I see in the mirror every day.

Being a solo entrepreneur isn’t easy. There are days when I feel stretched thin, exhausted, and unsure if I can handle it all. But I also feel unstoppable, because I’ve learned that the power to succeed doesn’t come from someone else showing up. It comes from showing up for yourself — every single day.

I am my own partner. I am my own support system. I am my own cheerleader. I am building my dreams on my own terms, and I’ve realized that being alone doesn’t mean being weak. It means being bold, resilient, and fully committed to myself and my vision.

So yes, I am doing this by myself. And you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Because the only person I need to trust, believe in, and hold accountable… is me.

Welcome to Hustle Fitness

We’re a 24-hour fitness center located in the quiet town of Norton, Ohio—built for those ready to take control of their fitness journey.

I’m Marcy—owner, personal trainer, electrician, plumber, and proud mom of two amazing girls. Like many small business owners, I wear a lot of hats… and every one of them helped build Hustle Fitness from the ground up.

My fitness journey started in 2002 when I lost 60 pounds the old-fashion way. No shortcuts—just hard work, consistency, and grit. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it changed my life. I made a promise to myself that I would never go back—and that promise turned into a lifelong passion and career.

In 2021, I took a leap of faith and left the security of a W-2 job to pursue fitness on my own. What started as a risk turned into something incredible—Hustle Fitness has grown beyond anything I imagined.

By 2025, I felt that pull again—the need to grow. So I risked it all once more and moved into my very own brick-and-mortar location. Now, I’m more excited than ever to continue building in this community and help even more people transform their lives.

At Hustle Fitness, I offer:

• Small group personal training

This isn’t just a gym—it’s a place where you build strength, confidence, resilience, and lasting friendships.

Month two of owning a bigger business has taught me one big lesson: delegate.

I definitely underestimated the magnitude of the task I took on. I’ve always been the “I can do it all” type of business owner, but this is a different level. Spending 12 hours a day at the gym wearing many hats has definitely humbled me and pushed me to start asking others to take some tasks off my hands.

Don’t get me wrong — I’m still excited to get to the gym every single day. But the ever-growing to-do list is something one person simply can’t keep up with.

Being a single mom, personal training clients, still taking care of myself, and now managing a 5,000 sq. ft. fitness center is a huge undertaking. Delegating has been one of my biggest challenges because Hustle Fitness is my baby. I want to pour all my time into my business, but the reality is my fridge is empty, the laundry pile has become a mountain, my girls need their mom, and my own workouts are a must!

I can do a lot — but I’m learning that it’s okay to ask for help along the way.

A special thanks to all my stronger clients who have helped move heavy things, my tall clients who reach what I can’t, and the kind-hearted ones who keep an eye on things when I have to step away.

Also… I was way too excited to get the storefront windows washed. Let’s be honest — we all know I’m not buying a squeegee. 😅

Running this gym may be the hardest thing I’ve taken on, but it’s also the most rewarding. Every day this community reminds me why Hustle Fitness is worth it.
