Pilates at 7!

As someone who has been chronically ill since childhood, I get it. And I'm the first to say yoga will not magically heal...

As someone who has been chronically ill since childhood, I get it. And I'm the first to say yoga will not magically heal you, I've been practicing since I was 11. Most days, I'm in pain even when teaching, or my heart rate is sky high, or I have to take a second when I stand up to see how lightheaded I am before moving.
HOWEVER, I do know that consistent practice lessens my pain. Practicing carefully and thoughtfully prevents random injuries and keeps me from getting stiff. I'm keeping my blood moving and building bone density. Focus on breath and movement keeps me in tune with what is going on in my body and gives me ways to cope. It's not a fix, but it's a tool, and it's a good one.

Makeup pilates class this evening at 6:45, no need to register.

There is no sound bath tomorrow due to lack of interest, but we'll post another date soon.

Chair yoga Thursday at 12!
