For adults age 55 and over, this facility provides both assisted living (2 levels of care available) and independent living. All utilities are paid except for telephone and cable television. Tenants receive three meals per day, housekeeping services and laundry service for flat linens. Special diets can be accommodated.
1- and 2-bedroom units are available, each in two sizes. Each unit comes w
ith stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal and microwave. Washer/dryer facilities are available on premise. Attached garages are available for $65 per month. Pets are allowed if the tenant can care for them, with a pet deposit. A security deposit of $750 is required for both assisted living and independent living units. The rent is as follows:
- Independent living starting at $1,950
- Assisted living starting at $3,480
Many services will be provided as part of your Independent and Assisted Living Community, each included in a monthly payment. The main meal of the day with various menus, as one of the three daily meals served. Guest meals are available with advanced notice at a nominal cost. Housekeeping of your living unit on a regular basis including, vacuuming carpets and cleaning of kitchen and bathroom floors. Private dining area for special occasions or meeting. Social and leisure activities tailored to your desires, as well as involvement with activities in the community. An urgent call system monitors 24 hours a day. An above ground reinforced concrete and block storm shelter for 40 individuals. Washer and dryer for your personal use. Weekly laundry service for flat linens and towels. Pick-up and delivery included. All utilities except telephone and cable TV are paid. Cable television hook-ups and wired telephone outlets are provided. Building and ground maintenance. Dressing and bathing along with other ADL’s by request (Assisted Living). Medication assistance by request. Local transportation by Norton Senior Bus or Norton Cares.
24 hour staff on site. Wellness and health education programs (flu shots, health fairs, guest lectures, referrals, etc.)
