Specialist Spotlight: Danielle VonFeldt, APRN – Urology

Danielle VonFeldt, APRN, brings advanced urologic expertise and a strong connection to the Norton community to her role at Norton County Hospital’s Specialty Clinic. A Norton native, Danielle began her healthcare journey at HaysMed in 2010 and steadily advanced her career; first as an LPN, then RN, and now as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.

In 2024, Danielle earned certification through the Certification Board for Urologic Nurses and Associates (CBUNA), making her one of only two Urology-Certified Nurse Practitioners in Kansas and one of just 230 nationwide. Her background includes experience in inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and the operating room; bringing well-rounded, compassionate urologic care to patients of all ages.

To make care even more convenient, Danielle provides expert urology consultations and follow-up appointments through our Specialty Clinic via telehealth, so patients can get the care they need without leaving their community.

Yesterday, our amazing nursing staff spent the day sharpening their skills to ensure you receive the best possible care when you visit Norton County Hospital.

They rotated through hands-on stations covering everything from life-saving procedures to patient comfort and education, including:

At the beginning of October, we’ll be wishing a very special farewell to Jonna Inman, APRN, as she steps into a well-earned retirement.

Jonna has been more than a provider; she’s been a steady hand, a trusted listener, and a true advocate for her patients. She's built relationships with compassion, treated each person with dignity, and offered not just care, but comfort and trust. For all of us who have worked beside her, Jonna has been a mentor and a reminder of what rural healthcare is really about: meeting people where they are and giving them our very best, every day.

Notice to Jonna’s current patients: Please be aware that you will need to establish care with a new provider before her retirement. Providers will be reviewing new patients and accepting on a case-by-case basis.
