Thank you SO much to everyone who helped make the New London Community Baby Shower happen! From Lucinda's House to the doulas who worked the event to the vendors and folks who donated items, none of it would have been possible without you!
I hope the families who came were able to feel supported in their community and leave with resources and knowledge they may not have knew about before

I am officially 9 months pregnant and on maternity leave! I am unsure exactly when I will get back to taking clients but as soon as I know, I will inform you all!! Thank you all for your support with my career so far and with my first little one on the way! I can’t get wait to get back to supporting families in 2023 when they time is right and I find my balance at motherhood and helping others become mothers themselves!!

Lucinda’s House is hosting a FREE community baby shower to share education on the black maternal health crisis, free baby goods, food and network with local birth providers!! Please pre-register on the Facebook event link in my bio but if you are not able to register in time, all are still welcome!!

Lucinda’s House is an initiative that provides advocacy, education and support to birthing people of color. It is a safe space to address the racial disparities in maternal mortality and severe maternal morbidity. Lucinda's house exists to create environments where women of color feel safe, supported, and can become an active part in eliminating structural barriers to improve their overall health and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to some of our donors for the New London Baby Community Shower so far!! We have 6 days left to collect donations and 10 days until the event! We are in need of diapers to dispense to the families, please donate to the Walmart registry in my story above if you can!! This is going to be a great event, can’t wait to see you all soon!

I am so honored to have been apart of such an amazing community event! Thank you to everyone to assisted , , and with the Bridgeport community baby shower and thank you to all the mothers who came! I hope we were able to empower you with knowledge, resources and you enjoyed the gifts!! I am so lucky to work for such an amazing group! I will be working on hosting the New London community baby shower next on 9/17 so be sure to RSVP and share to help local New London County moms!!!
