One of my former players from Trinity Catholic High School in Stamford tied the knot — surrounded by other young women I once coached in basketball and softball. Seeing them laugh, hug, and celebrate as family? That’s the real win.

So proud to have coached these young women — on the court and on the diamond.

People ask why I coach. Sure, I loved the X’s and O’s, the buzzer-beaters, the double plays. But the most important reason is right here. These aren’t just players I coached — they’re my people. Lifelong family. Daughters, sisters, friends.

From high school gyms and fields to wedding halls. From teaching a pick-and-roll or a bunt coverage to watching them build a life with the person they love.

This is what it’s all about. 💍🏆
