🥚 Carecore at Gaymont residents had a great time last week participating in egg-themed activities with Therapy, including egg coloring, an egg and spoon race, and preparing deviled eggs and egg salad.

These activities support coordination, encourage teamwork, and bring joy through hands-on engagement and shared experiences.

🌸 Carecore at Gaymont’s Spring Fling was a wonderful day filled with laughter, games, and community spirit. Kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt, bunny hop, egg race, ring toss, and pin the tail on the bunny, along with a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

Guests also enjoyed delicious treats, including cookies from the kitchen staff and Waffle Locos. A heartfelt thank you to Miller’s Groceries for baked goods, the kitchen team for their hard work, and everyone who donated candy and raffle prizes.

The event also supported a great cause, raising funds for Alzheimer’s through raffle baskets. Special thanks to the seniors and juniors from Norwalk High School for volunteering their time and helping make the day such a success.

🌸🐣 Help Us Make the Carecore at Gaymont Easter Egg Hunt Extra Sweet!

We’re getting ready for our Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt on April 3rd, and we need your help filling hundreds of colorful eggs for our community celebration!

We’re currently accepting donations of individually wrapped, egg-sized candy to make this event fun, festive, and memorable for families and residents. Donations can be dropped off with Julie in Admissions or Michelle in Activities.

🌸🐰 Spring is hopping into Carecore at Gaymont!

Join us on April 3rd for our community Spring Fling Event, a fun-filled afternoon for all ages. Enjoy raffles, games, crafts, delicious bites from the Waffle Locos food truck, and our Easter Egg Hunt from 2–3 PM!

All proceeds will support the Alzheimer’s Association, making this a day of joy and purpose. Bring family, friends, and neighbors, and help us celebrate spring while supporting a wonderful cause!

If it rains, the fun will continue indoors and residents will still be passing out eggs during the Easter Egg Hunt.
