Meet Taylor!
Taylor Campbell, born and raised in Maine, is a certified personal trainer with a strong background in athletics and a passion for empowering women through fitness. A former high school and collegiate athlete, Taylor knows the value of hard work, discipline, and the confidence that comes with pushing past limits.
She holds certifications in strength & conditioning, HIIT, women’s training, and postpartum coaching, among others. Her mission is to help women discover their strength—physically, mentally, and emotionally—so they can become the best versions of themselves.
In addition to her full time job as a kitchen designer, alongside being a trainer, Taylor and her husband, Brandon, are raising three young children: Brinley, their oldest daughter, and twins, Brielle and Bowen. Between motherhood, working full time, teaching, and her own training, Taylor continues to lead by example, showing her kids that strength comes in many forms—physical, mental, and emotional.
For Taylor, the gym is more than a workout space—it’s a community, a place to recharge, and a chance to celebrate the wins, big and small, of every person who walks through the door.

I have a small group total body class starting Monday 9/15 @ 7am. I have a couple spots available!

It is a small group class.These classes are 8 week cycles with an 8 week commitment. $140 up front for the entire 8 weeks. All levels are welcomed and encouraged!

Meet Cortney!

Cortney Raasumaa is a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, and licensed therapist who believes in the powerful connection between physical and mental health. Her journey began at the University of Maine, where she studied psychology and dance, and started teaching dance and coaching gymnastics. While earning her master’s degree in social work, she fell in love with yoga and has been teaching ever since.
After undergoing shoulder surgery due to an adventurous stint in white water rafting, Cortney became committed to proactive strength training to prevent future injuries. She began training at Yap Fitness in 2020 and quickly discovered not only physical resilience but also improved mental wellbeing and a strong sense of community.
Now, as a personal trainer, Cortney combines her therapeutic expertise with her passion for movement to help clients build strength, confidence, and balance. She encourages her clients—both in the gym and in her private therapy practice—to prioritize sleep, nutrition, and exercise as foundational pillars of mental health. Her approach is compassionate, empowering, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel strong, supported, and well.

Katelyn is 27 years old and recently joined the Yap Fitness team as a spin instructor and personal trainer. With a background in English and Criminology and a Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology, she brings a unique perspective to coaching and motivating others.
By day, Katelyn works as an HR Director, but her true passion shines in the gym—helping clients build strength, confidence, and resilience. She loves seeing people grow not just physically, but mentally, as they put in the hard work and push past their limits.

Meet Jess – Founder of Yap Fitness
For Jess, fitness has never been just about lifting weights or breaking a sweat — it’s been life-changing. It gave her strength in more ways than one, helping her build resilience, confidence, and the ability to keep moving forward even in her darkest days. Fitness became her outlet, her anchor, and her passion — and ultimately, the reason she opened Yap Fitness in 2020.

Located in Norway, Maine, Yap Fitness was born from Jess’s vision of creating a space where others could find the same strength and empowerment she discovered through movement. With specialties in strength and conditioning, kettlebell training, cycling, and nutrition coaching, Jess focuses on guiding people not just toward physical goals, but toward mental and emotional growth as well.

At Yap Fitness, Jess offers:

One-on-one personal training for customized support

Small group fitness classes for connection and accountability

Cycling classes for energy and endurance

Kids barbell class!! New class for ages 8-15. This class will teach kids the correct lifting techniques. We will be using barbells ranging from 5lbs-22lbs.

Class Size- 8 kids
6 week class
Start date- Tuesday 9/16 @ 4pm
Cost- $140.00 for entire 6 weeks
Class duration- 45 minutes

*Payment is due at first class.

🚵‍♀️ Cycling + strength 🏋‍♀️

Class duration - 60 min
Cost - $160.00 due at first class

This class is an 8-week small group class with limited spots.

In this class, we will spend half of the class cycling to fun upbeat music, and the other half will be spent strength training in the studio

All levels are welcomed and encouraged.
