Field trip to the M-69 Roadcut this Saturday July 13th. We will meet at the Park & Ride at the intersection of US-2 and M-95 on the west side of Iron Mountain. Cullen will be there at 11 am Central time to show samples of what we will be looking for and then he'll take everyone to the roadcut.

Northwoods Geology Club is hosting a field trip to the Champion/Beacon Mine in Champion, Michigan tomorrow. Here's their announcement. (Note it says CENTRAL time) :

Our club has a field trip to the waste rock piles near Champion on Saturday, June 22. We will meet at 12:00 CST at the convenience store (Circle K) near the intersection of M-95 and M-28.
