Every treatment session is one hour in length and we always provide our patients with one to one care. Each therapist is trained to evaluate a patient's condition in order to develop the perfect plan for recovery. 💥 Struggling with hip pain? 💥
You’re not alone — hip discomfort can come from tight muscles, poor posture, overuse, or even weakness in surrounding areas. The good news? The right stretches can help relieve tension, improve mobility, and protect your hips for the long run. 🙌
✅ Stretch with purpose — focus on gentle, controlled movements.
✅ Don’t push through pain — listen to your body.
✅ Stay consistent — a few minutes daily can make a big difference.
Here are 5 PT-approved hip stretches you can try:
1️⃣ Figure-4 Stretch — Lie on your back, cross your ankle over the opposite thigh, and gently pull your leg toward your chest. (Outer hip & glutes)
2️⃣ Hip Flexor Lunge — Kneel on one knee, other foot forward, and shift hips forward for a front-of-hip stretch.
3️⃣ Seated Butterfly — Sit with feet together, knees out, and gently press knees toward the floor. (Inner thighs & groin)
4️⃣ 90/90 Hip Stretch — Sit with both knees bent at 90 degrees (one in front, one behind). Lean forward for an outer hip stretch.
5️⃣ Supine Hamstring Stretch with Strap — Lie on your back, loop a strap around one foot, and extend the leg toward the ceiling. (Hamstrings & back of hip)
💡 Pro tip: Hold each stretch for 20–30 seconds per side, and repeat 2–3 times.
