Try it Tuesday - Shiva Squat 🧘‍♀️

We did these in the gym last week and they are challenging!! Inspired by yoga, they incorporate balance, coordination and strength. Start without weights and then add them to make it more difficult. Great quad and glut exercise!!

⭐️Instructions⭐️

1. Start in a standing position with your feet hip-width apart.

2. Step back with one leg, placing your knee behind the other calf.

3. Hinge forward with your hips.

4. Drop into a squat bending your knees and come back to standing.

5. You can also do these with your hands on the ground or blocks/weights for more stability and extend your leg as your rise.

6. Lots and lots of fun variations!!🥰

Join me on Wednesday, October 8th at 6 pm for Menopause 101!

I have invited Sarah Nadarajah*, APRN, WHNP-BC, MSCP, from Essential Clinic in Dedham, and New England OBGYN in Chestnut Hill, to talk to us about the basics of Menopause. Sarah has been extremely helpful to me. The one hour talk will be followed with Q&A! It's time to get answers and stop suffering in silence!!
