You may have seen the signs, and now we’re proud to share that we have new neighbors at South Shore Medical Center Norwell!

Boston Children’s Physicians Norwell has opened within our Norwell practice at 143 Longwater Drive, offering expert care in eleven pediatric specialties.

This opening continues a decades-long collaboration between Boston Children’s Hospital and South Shore Health.

It’s important to note that this opening will not affect our Pediatrics Department in any way – you’ll continue to see all of the providers you know and love for annual well child visits, sick visits, and more.

Now, if your child needs a referral for pediatric specialty care, they may be able to see a provider in a familiar setting instead of traveling to a brand new practice.

We’re excited to welcome Boston Children’s providers to Norwell and to continue this collaboration!

Vaccines have been in the news again in recent days due to the CDC’s decision to overhaul the childhood vaccine schedule.

Vaccines remain one of the most effective ways to protect children and communities from serious illnesses.

At South Shore Medical Center, your child’s health and safety are our top priorities.

With that in mind, our vaccine recommendations will not change and will continue to follow the scientific evidence and guidance of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

These recommendations are based on decades of research and a commitment to keeping children safe.

If you have questions about vaccines or the recommended immunization schedule, we encourage you to rely on trusted, evidence-based sources like the AAP.

To make an informed decision, we encourage you to speak to your child’s provider during a visit about any questions you may have.

We are here to support you and help keep your children healthy and protected. Thank you for trusting us with your child’s care.
