The group meets every other week at our office in Norwich and offers a safe, supportive space to connect with others who understand.

Participants are welcome to attend either in-person at 33-39 Court Street, Norwich, or join virtually by phone or video. This group is designed to provide support and connection among caregivers. It is free and open to any caregivers in Chenango County.🙂

Did you know that March is NATIONAL SOCIAL WORK MONTH? The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) announced that this year’s theme is “Social Workers: Uplift. Defend. Transform.”

Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County would like to recognize and thank the dedicated, compassionate, and knowledgeable Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) who are on our staff (pictured left to right): Janette Grainger, our Hospice Social Worker; Kendall Johnson, our Executive Director; and Jordyn Andrews, our Grief Services Coordinator, for their tireless work supporting our organization and the patients and families in our care!

Last year, Jordyn and Janette became Advanced Palliative Hospice Social Worker – Certified (APHSW-C)! Since 1991, Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County has been caring for our community. End of life, death, dying, and grief are scary topics to talk about and work though. We are here to provide expert opinions and guidance to you and your family.
