Cris Toscano, BAYADA Practice President of Skilled Nursing, recently attended the Shriners Children's Fin-Raise for Love event at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. She had the honor of representing BAYADA alongside Division Directors Dean Drizin and Jennifer Osmanaj, Director Shea Boland, and Transitional Care Manager Lori Wescott.

They enjoyed connecting with other community members to support, raise awareness, and help fund the Shriners Children's mission. We’re proud to work with such an incredible organization whose values align closely with ours.

We’re honored to have been part of this year’s Diabetes Symposium. A big thank you to the Arizona Physician Group for hosting such an impactful event, and to all the partners and vendors who joined to bring diabetes care and education to the community.

Our Racial and Ethnic Diversity (R.E.D.) The Employee Resource Council partnered with UrbanPromise, an organization that empowers youth in Camden, NJ, to host its annual School Supply Drive and Community Day.

With the generosity of our BAYADA team members and support of the Aspen and Fostering Acceptance, Inspiring Trust, and Harmony (F.A.I.T.H.) Employee Resource Councils, students received backpacks filled with essentials for a successful school year. Guided by this year’s theme, “Healing Stories: Every Body, Every Voice,” the event brought celebration, connection, and community spirit.

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, our Charlotte, NC pediatric office hosted a Blood Mobile visit. Clinical managers Natasha, Jeromy, and Erika—along with field nurse Angela—all rolled up their sleeves to donate blood.

Every donation can save up to three lives. We’re grateful to our team for supporting such an important cause and making a meaningful difference for those in our community. ❤️

Congratulations to BAYADA Division Director Dean Drizin on his promotion to Commander (CDR) in the U.S. Navy Reserve!

In 2024, Dean was honored as Flight Surgeon of the Year across the entire Naval Reserve for his outstanding service with Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 60 (HSM-60) at NAS Jacksonville.

Eric Cunningham knew he made the right choice for his dad when he opted for hospice care. It provided the essential equipment, medication, and support that allowed him to bring his father home. Eric and Mr. Cunningham peacefully spent the last three weeks of his life together in his childhood home. “If I had only known how we all would have benefited from hospice, I would have called sooner.”

Join BAYADA Hospice in Having Courageous Conversations During National Hospice and Palliative Care Month

In a culture that often teaches us to resist mortality, the seemingly simple act of having a conversation about dying can have a profound impact.

Some questions to consider sharing:

• What does death mean in your life?
• If you are faced with a terminal diagnosis, how would your values shape your end of life journey?
• How do you want your loved ones to engage with you toward the end of your life?

It can be difficult to ask these questions, but leading courageous conversations with patients can give them a voice they may not know existed in their end-of-life treatment plans and goals of care.
