“Our mission is simple: to help you break the cycle of addiction and to get you living a full life. We believe an addict can stop using and start living. We believe a person learning to live without drugs should have a sense of belonging to the community and work to service it. That’s why Port Recovery’s mission goes beyond recovery from an addiction. We also want to help local communities by promoting and improving them.
People in our programs play an important role in the revitalization of their communities. With each addict who finds a new way of life, a community rids itself of a destructive member and gains a productive one. Being drug-free leads to employment, responsible parenthood, home ownership, and overall just being a good law abiding citizen”.
