For as long as she can remember, she has had the ability to communicate with those who have crossed over. Samantha believes that death is not the end but a new beginning. From an early age, Sam, as she prefers to be called, has seen and heard the souls of the departed. In addition to being a psychic medium, a gift she kept hidden from her skeptical family, Sam is a sensitive with low vision. Sensitives, also known as empaths, have the ability to tune into emotions of people and animals. Samantha is clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient, and claircognizant. A self-professed ghost magnet, Sam has had more than a few paranormal experiences, a list that still grows today. How did she learn of her unique abilities? Not only did spirits tell her she was gifted, Sam took it upon herself to conduct research about her abilities. In the beginning, she thought she was crazy but was proven otherwise when a psychic confirmed what she already knew, leading her to come out of the closet in her late teens. Samantha feels history and the paranormal go hand-in-hand as each time she visits a historic site such as the battlefield and surrounding area of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; something always seems to happen. Being a medium and descendant of the American Civil War makes Samantha's encounters with spirits all the more interesting.
