Coming off shift this morning—tired, worn down, running on fumes.

If you’re a first responder, military, or in any high-stress job… you get it.
Lack of sleep. Lack of control. Carrying things most people never see.

And the scary part?
Sometimes it wears you down without you even realizing it.

That’s why you have to refill your own cup.

For me, it’s movement.
Running clears my head.
Lifting builds me back up.
Yoga and breath work bring me back to baseline.
Eating foods that not only fuel & restore me but reduce inflammation.

It’s not just a workout.
It’s the one part of my day that’s mine.
No noise. No expectations. Just me showing up for me.

And here’s the truth—
movement isn’t about looking better.
It’s about coming back to your body…
and remembering what you’re actually capable of.

Because your potential? It’s not small.
It’s not limited.
But your mindset will either unlock it… or keep you stuck.

The way you talk to yourself matters.
Be someone you’d want in your corner.

You don’t need saving.
No one is coming to rescue you.

You have to be your own hero.

So show up messy.
Show up tired.
Show up anyway.

That 1% of your day you dedicate to yourself?
It changes everything.

Be 1% better today than you were yesterday.
That’s how you rebuild. That’s how you grow.
In the messy middle between you wanting to do what feels comfortable & trusting yourself to do hard things.
Keep putting in the effort, because you’re worth it❤️

We had the honor of celebrating Pop’s 97th birthday today! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

We took a trip down memory lane- Dundalk, Sparrows Point, and finished at his favorite place, Rocky Point golf course⛳️ A fun filled day of stories, laughter, and soaking in every bit of wisdom you shared🫶

Pop, what an incredible life you’ve lived. I feel so grateful to have witnessed the way you’ve loved your family, always putting us first, always showing up. You’ve shaped all of us in more ways than you probably even realize.

You are a man of strength, resilience, and quiet wisdom. Army strong through and through. The way you’ve overcome challenges, especially these past few years, just shows who you are at your core—nothing can knock you down.💪

Some of my best memories are with you—from golf outings to baseball games to you standing on the sidelines with that VHS camera, capturing everything. You’ve always been there. Always.

There truly aren’t enough words to describe how much you mean to me and our family. Your love is felt every single day, and we are so incredibly blessed to have you.

Happy 97th birthday, Pop. We love you more than you know!! 😘

Done is better than perfect.
1 mile warm up into 8x 400m repeats.
400m Best Effort 1:43

I didn’t feel like running this morning. I was tired, it was cold, the wind was brutal, and I had every excuse to skip it. But I showed up anyway. I got outside, leaned into the discomfort, and reminded myself that growth doesn’t happen inside your comfort zone.

Running has a way of humbling you. You can have a pace in mind, a distance in mind, a whole plan in your head—and then your body checks you real quick. But that doesn’t mean quit. It means meet yourself where you are. Breathe. Reset. Trust your training. Trust your body. Trust yourself.

That doesn’t mean push through pain until you injure yourself. It means learning the difference between discomfort and damage. It means warming up, fueling well, hydrating, recovering, and still choosing to show up on the days that feel messy.

These runs are teaching me that discomfort is temporary, but the confidence you build by not quitting carries into everything else. Every time you keep going, every time you choose to believe in yourself, you prove that you’re capable of more than you thought.

Keep showing up for yourself, especially on the hard days.
You are worth the effort.
You are worth the work.
And you are capable of far more than you think.

Throwback Thursday to our last shift workout 💪
90s gangster pose edition 😂

Getting a workout in on shift is a huge win in itself. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned when it comes to this job & working out is that fitness isn’t just about lifting or running- it needs to be functional, movements that are based on the job we do.

We’re expected to perform under high stress, carry heavy loads, and move efficiently in unpredictable environments.

That means training for strength, endurance, stability, and job specific movement.

Our workout from last shift was a goodie. Give it a try.

1 mile run for warm up into
5-10-15-20
• Cal row
• Single Arm DB chest press
• Single Arm DB row
• Single Arm DB Clean to press

Simple. Effective. Done.

Because in this line of work, taking care of your body isn’t optional—it’s part of the job.

We owe it to ourselves.
We owe it to our team.
We owe it to the people we serve.

Train with intention. Move with purpose.
Stay ready, so you don’t have to get ready.
1% better everyday is the motto 💪💪💪

A light 7mile Run on the trail today ✅

Simple reminder that done is better than perfect, you don’t need the ‘perfect’ plan to get started.

Just. Get. Moving. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Running has always been a HUGE outlet for me, not just because of the conditioning benefits but bc it’s the one part of the day where you’re showing up for yourself- no matter what you look or feel like you get it done. Even if you don’t feel like, even on the days where you can find every excuse not to, you still show up.

Showing up is half the battle.
Keep showing up for yourself everyday, whether that’s miles on the trail, or reps in the weight room.
It doesn’t have to last for hours, it could be just 15mins.
Do what you can with what you have and you’ll be stronger than you ever imagined.

Embrace the stress, embrace the struggle, embrace the challenge of sucking at something new. Get outside your comfort zone & love yourself every step of the way, because you’re worth it ❤️💪

Yesterday, I was in my head.

Doubting if I could hit the pace…
Thinking maybe I’d just aim for a 90% on my PT test and play it safe.

But then I stopped and reminded myself exactly who I am—and what I’m capable of.

Today, I showed up.
Not just physically… but mentally.

And I pushed harder than I ever have before.

2 miles in 14:58
The fastest I’ve ever run in my life & first time I’ve ever reached the maximum points for my pt test.

And here’s the truth…

It wasn’t just my training.
It wasn’t just nutrition.
It wasn’t just the work I’ve put in.

It was my mindset.
It was choosing to breathe into the discomfort of temporary pain.

The moment I stopped giving power to doubt…
and started telling myself “maybe I can?”
everything changed.

Your body will always follow what your mind believes.

So be careful with your words, saying things like:
“I’m just not a runner.”
“I’ve never been that fast.”
“I don’t think I can do that.”

Because if you believe that—you’ll live that.

But if you flip it…
If you give yourself permission to go ALL IN…

You’ll surprise yourself every single time.

Your limits?
They’re not real.
They’re just stories you’ve accepted.

So whatever you’re facing right now—
stress, pressure, doubt, a challenge…

Use it.
Lean into the discomfort.
Grow from it.

Don’t lower the standard.
Don’t change the goal.
Just adjust your sails, remain flexible & learn from your failures. Adapt the plan & keep moving forward.

Because the moment you start believing “I can”…
you start changing your entire trajectory.

What a beautiful day today! Had to take advantage of it and get a 4mile run in on the trail with Dad 🏃‍♀️❤️

Just a reminder to get outside and move your body in whatever way you can. It doesn’t have to be perfect, you don’t need to be outside for hours, or even planned — it just has to happen. Movement truly is medicine.

Move with purpose. Move with intention. Move with the people you love.

Days like this are a gift, and sometimes the best thing you can do for your mind and body is step outside, breathe the fresh air, and put one foot in front of the other.

Progress isn’t built in perfect moments — it’s built in the decision to simply show up. Keep showing up for yourself, those you love and never give up, bc you’re worth it. ❤️

Running has always been more than miles or PRs for me.

It’s my reset button.
My therapy.
My way to find peace in the chaos.

Not every run feels good. Some feel heavy. Some feel uncomfortable. Some feel like a fight.

But success isn’t built in comfort — it’s built in your ability to stay focused when $hit gets hard.

Sometimes it’s not about pace.
It’s about putting soles to pavement.
One foot in front of the other.
Trusting your body to handle the stress.
And having faith that you’ll make it to the finish line.

One run won’t fix your problems.
But proving to yourself that you can endure discomfort?
That changes everything.

Keep going. Keep showing up. Even on the hard days.
Because you’re worth it. ❤️❤️❤️

“Be the medic you’d want as a patient.”

Just wrapped up 14 intense days at AMU TCCC Train-the-Trainer course. We went 0–100 mastering critical battlefield medicine skills — then turned around and taught them.

This experience reminded me that in this line of work, you don’t rise to the occasion — you fall to your level of training. Lives depend on how well we know our skills.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to train under some of the best cadre out there and now pass that knowledge on to others prepping to go down range. TCCC is the foundation. Being ready is non-negotiable.

Let’s continue to raise the standard — because the mission, and those we serve, deserve nothing less. 🇺🇸🩸

“You can’t control the wind, but you can adjust your sails.”

Lately, I’ve felt off balance—stretched too thin, trying to do it all. I’ve taken on so much, and it hit me: I need to pause, reflect, and reset.

Not a failure. A redirection.

To show up fully for my people, my work, and my passions, I’m making a shift. Starting next month, I’ll be offering pop-up LIFT classes instead of regular sessions. This gives me the space to refocus and realign.

Not every season is about pushing hard.
Some are for growth.
Some for healing.
Some for rest.

Move with your season, not against it.

What served you last month might not serve you now—and that’s okay. Adjust. Flow. Honor where you are.

And remember:
Your worth is not measured by productivity.
You are worthy as is.

So today—breathe.
Walk. Lift. Call a friend. Or just rest.
That’s enough.

Give yourself grace.
Adjust your sails.
Move with purpose, not pressure. ❤️
