Coming off shift this morning—tired, worn down, running on fumes.
If you’re a first responder, military, or in any high-stress job… you get it.
Lack of sleep. Lack of control. Carrying things most people never see.
And the scary part?
Sometimes it wears you down without you even realizing it.
That’s why you have to refill your own cup.
For me, it’s movement.
Running clears my head.
Lifting builds me back up.
Yoga and breath work bring me back to baseline.
Eating foods that not only fuel & restore me but reduce inflammation.
It’s not just a workout.
It’s the one part of my day that’s mine.
No noise. No expectations. Just me showing up for me.
And here’s the truth—
movement isn’t about looking better.
It’s about coming back to your body…
and remembering what you’re actually capable of.
Because your potential? It’s not small.
It’s not limited.
But your mindset will either unlock it… or keep you stuck.
The way you talk to yourself matters.
Be someone you’d want in your corner.
You don’t need saving.
No one is coming to rescue you.
You have to be your own hero.
So show up messy.
Show up tired.
Show up anyway.
That 1% of your day you dedicate to yourself?
It changes everything.
Be 1% better today than you were yesterday.
That’s how you rebuild. That’s how you grow.
In the messy middle between you wanting to do what feels comfortable & trusting yourself to do hard things.
Keep putting in the effort, because you’re worth it❤️
