Growing into yourself as a person with ADHD isn’t about becoming “less” of anything. It’s about becoming more of who you truly are. It’s learning to stop measuring your worth by productivity or how well you fit (mask) into systems never designed with you in mind. It’s reclaiming your strengths: your creativity, your insight, your passion, your resilience. It’s unlearning the shame and embracing the truth that your brain isn’t broken. It’s brilliant. In its own way. Growth doesn’t mean fixing yourself. It means understanding yourself, honoring your needs, and building a life that works with your brain, not against it.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but I know someone does.

If you’re angry or enraged by the current state of the world, you are not alone.

As many go about their day as if nothing is wrong, as if everything is fine, it can feel disorienting and even destabilizing. There’s a word for this: hypernormalization. It describes the experience of living through massive social, cultural, or political shifts while those around you act like everything is normal. It can feel surreal. While some may not fully grasp the gravity of the times we’re in, many more simply don’t know what to do. So people go on as they always have.

If you’re someone who stays informed, who feels deeply for others and for the collective, it can feel like you’re being gaslit with the persistent normality. And in many ways, you are. We all are.

So if you need to hear this today: Your anger is valid.
Your rage is valid.

It is valid when wanton cruelty is accepted as strength.
When basic decency is dismissed as naïve.
When the most powerful attack the most vulnerable.
When compassion is perceived as weakness.
When critical thinking and nuance are ridiculed.

Rage and anger are natural responses to unnatural circumstances.

Just don’t let them consume you. Don’t let it swallow you whole and leave you bitter or apathetic.

As a therapist, I’ve learned that some of the most compassionate, gentle, kind people are also full of anger. And they work tirelessly to keep it from spilling onto others.

Hold the tension.
Transform it.
Let your anger be a catalyst for help, for healing, for change.

In times like these, it’s easy to feel like “nothing matters anymore.”

But what if the opposite is true?
What if everything matters?
Ask yourself: What am I able to do?
Then do it.

Life can feel overwhelming and disorienting—especially now. The news never stops, uncertainty is constant, and juggling personal responsibilities, and work obligations can be exhausting. Like you’re carrying more than you know how to hold, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you but unsure where to begin.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

It’s a place to explore what you need in order to feel more like you again.

We support people navigating:
~ Anxiety & overwhelming stress
~ Depression, hopelessness & emotional exhaustion
~ Life transitions & identity shifts LGBTQIA+ affirming
~ Social & Political Stress
~ Burnout, Fatigue
~ Relationship Issues
~ ADHD & neurodivergent affirming
~ Women’s issues
~ Feeling “off” or stuck without a clear way forward

Our approach is holistic and evidence-based, centered on the whole person within their environment.

As therapists, we often hear: “It’s not that bad.”
But you don’t have to wait for a crisis to ask for support.
Therapy is for anyone ready to feel more grounded, more empowered, and more connected.
