Our Independent Living residents were able to step back in history and explore the remarkable Guardian Building in Detroit, MI. Constructed in 1928, this Art-Deco landmark is known for the name “Cathedral of Finance” - it truly is a beauty!

We had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful New Year celebration for the Primetimers, a group of several churches, here at Waltonwood Twelve Oaks. Our culinary team did a phenomenal job with their action stations as we had a customizable pasta bar, short rib with truffle mash, and cherries jubilee crafted by our pastry chef Ian. It was a great day celebrating with new friends. Cheers! 🥂

We were absolutely thrilled to be featured on national news, sharing the heart of our 3rd annual "Waltonwood to Dollywood" celebration.

As we gear up for Dolly Parton’s milestone 80th birthday on January 19, our residents are honoring the Queen of Country in true rhinestone style; from creating dolly inspired hats to singing along to her favorite hits. We are so proud to share this celebratory moment with you all!

Our Resident Kindness Council in Memory Care were able to create handmade birdseed ornaments for National Bird Day! Once these seed creations are complete, we will be donating to Maybury State Park for them to hang around and enjoy. Thank you, Kindness Council!
