What it is:
Truemed makes it seamless for your members to qualify for a Letter of Medical Necessity — a document that allows them to use their pre-tax HSA or FSA funds to reimburse their memberships and personal training packages. By using pre-tax funds, members are saving ~30%*.
*On average, 30% of gross income is paid to state and federal tax. Individual tax rates vary.
How it works:
Current and prospective members take the brief telehealth survey, paying $20 at the end.
If approved (~99% of those who reach payment screen), members receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) along with instructions on how to submit expenses for reimbursement. (Takes
