You can be brave and strong and also have parts of you that carry pain and wounds. It’s all OK and part of being human. It helps those parts to receive love and compassion and to be seen. Sending love and compassion to you and those important parts of you that yearn for love, connection and belonging. You are seen!❤️

Remember that those who post content are trying to get your attention. What works best- FEAR- not great for mental health when scrolling and getting periodic jolts of fear.

Happy November! Many experience heightened anxiety around election time. Create some intention around protecting your peace and mental health which affects your ability to function. Some ways to do this:
1. Extra self-care- eat healthy, exercise, do things that bring you joy.
2. Boundaries- this could include limiting news intake, scrolling and time with people who are especially triggered/triggering during this time.
3. Circle of Control- Mindfulness of what is in one’s control and what is not can be helpful to keep perspective.

This is a great quote! True for so many! We see you! Acknowledging this rather than shoving that part away can be liberating and create more space for joy- counterintuitively.

This.

It is impossible for anyone to go through life without a bad day.

When you have disabilities and illnesses, these bad days show up more frequently.

Pushing though every bad day instead of resting when you need to will only result in more bad days, that are usually worse.

It takes an Autistic person, on average 3 months to 2 years to recover from Autistic Burnout.

There has never been a situation in which someone was able to successfully just 'push through' fatigue, illness & burnout nor is anyone able to just bottle up and ignore severe emotional reactions' forever and if you think you have; congratulations you're a ticking time bomb with a coin toss of if you destroy yourself or those around you when it catches up to you.

It can be hard to get back in the groove after a long weekend. Here’s a way to transition- a deep meditation to help with balance and focus. There are also some great yoga nidra practices on this site to help with falling asleep at night. Namaste.🙏
