Before you consciously process what’s happening, your brain has already decided what to focus on… based on what feels familiar.

This is shaped by your past experiences, your beliefs, and your nervous system.

So if you’ve ever felt stuck seeing the same patterns over and over again… the good news is that these patterns can shift.

With awareness and repetition, your brain can begin to recognize something new.

Most people think the goal is to fix their thoughts.

To think more positively, or to stop overthinking.

But that’s not actually how the mind works.

Your brain produces thoughts automatically based on past experiences, conditioning, and patterns. You do not control the first thought that appears.

What you do control… is what you do next.

This is called metacognition.

It's the ability to observe your thoughts instead of immediately identifying with them.

And when you learn to step back and witness your thoughts rather than automatically believe them, something powerful happens:

You create space.

And in that space, you begin to choose differently.

Is this thought true?
Is it helpful?
Do I want to follow it?

That is where real transformation begins.

Not by controlling your mind…
but by changing your relationship with it.

Today I turn 46.

While I don’t remember the wish I made at 5, I can tell you that today, I feel more fulfilled than I ever could have wished for.

And so, I’ve found myself reflecting on this past year…

This was the year I carried my book into the world.

A book that is deeply personal—woven from my own experiences, my healing, and everything I’ve lived, learned, and moved through.

There’s something so different about sharing your work when it’s that close to your heart. It’s vulnerable. It’s intimate. It’s incredibly meaningful. And a bit scary.

This was also the year my voice reached further than I anticipated.

My community on TikTok is over 120,000 people, and my other platforms are growing as well.

I've also had tens of millions of views on content that, at its core, is simply about helping people feel better and transform their lives.

And what’s interesting is that one year ago, I had no idea what any of this would look like.

I remember feeling anxious.
Wondering how it would all work out.
Questioning if I was doing the right things.

And while some things didn’t unfold the way I expected…

Other things exceeded anything I could have imagined.

And through all of it, the most meaningful part hasn’t been the numbers.

It’s been this:

Knowing that I am so solidly walking my path.
Doing the work I feel called to do.
Helping people transform their lives and their health.
And watching something that once felt nearly impossible become something real has felt incredible.

I feel so deeply grateful.

Grateful for the growth.
Grateful for the uncertainty that stretched me.
Grateful for every single one of you who is here, doing this work too.

If this past year has taught me anything, it’s this:

You don’t need to have it all figured out.

You just need to keep showing up, listening, and taking the next aligned step.

Because sometimes what unfolds isn’t what you planned…

Real transformation starts with understanding yourself… not just your thoughts, but your body, your patterns, and your nervous system.

When you begin to connect these pieces, things start to make sense in a new way.

Your reactions.
Your emotions.
Your experiences.

A deeper connection to yourself isn’t something you can force… it’s something you allow through love, compassion, and safety.

Because when your body feels safe enough, awareness deepens.

And from that place, healing and transformation can begin naturally.

The more you learn to work with your body instead of against it, the more clarity, connection, and understanding you begin to experience within yourself.
