So now what? There are things you can do beyond washing your hands. Here are some things that help you maintain a strong immunity.
Yes wash hands, take off clothes when you come in, disinfect your shoes. Disinfect the bottom of shoes!

It takes about 4 days for an active infection to get into the lungs. Italian doctors state that it stays in the throat at that time and is vulnerable. Gargling with warm water and salt, apple cider vinegar, or hot water will help reduce it in the throat. Hot tea, lemon water, any hot liquid helps keep mucous flowing in lungs, reduce throat symptoms.
If you have respiratory symptoms, cant get to the hospital or ICU, sleeping on your stomach helps drain and keeps the lungs from clogging.

Immunity boosts.

Vitamin D. take at least 2000IU. Do not take more than 5000 without getting your blood levels checked. Overdosing will get you sick. We tend to be low in the east and it can contribute to respiratory and sinus infections.

Zinc(if you can find it) 15-20mg not more. It is anti viral and eases symptoms.

Taking Vit C now before getting sick helps. 500mg every few hours helps with viruses.

Sambucol elderberry extract. Either that name brand or one that has full spectrum pressed syrup. It has been shown to inhibit flu and other viruses. Remember, COVID-19 is a more virulent virus, related to standard corona rhinovirus, that gives you colds.

These are not cures and have not been evaluated by the FDA for effectiveness, treatment or cure of any disease or condition.
Be safe, be kind.We will see you soon.

To all our patients. We have decided to put aside our financial and practice needs and close until Monday, April 6. Why? We are a hands on process and it is not worth becoming a vector, during the viral surge, that is happening over the next week or so. I know other chiropractic offices are ignoring the state request top limit practice to emergencies and continue to see non critical patients. Are they using gloves and a N95 mask. Are they constantly cleaning? ?Are they limiting their staff and patient flow to less than 10 people in their office at any one time, practicing 6 ft distancing? Probably not. They risk spreading this to you, you to them, your mother, your spouse, your children? People are getting sick and people are dying.Staff will use approved masks and gloves.Take some social responsibility. We will reopen on Monday April 6, 3 days per week, to start. We will be disinfecting and limiting patient flow to less than 10 people at once in the office. This is a time for cooperation, kindness and helping where you can. It is not a time for politics, greed, hoarding. Be better, do better. If you need to contact us, call 518-489-2628. we are scheduling for the week of April 6. Be safe, be kind, God Bless.
