Guided by our incredible Board of Directors, Montefiore Nyack Foundation is the fundraising arm of Montefiore Nyack Hospital.

Montefiore Nyack Foundation’s mission is to build enduring community relationships that promote and financially support Montefiore Nyack Hospital's comprehensive state-of-the-art medical care, exceptional programs, and outstanding patient experiences. Established in 1985, the Foundation is dedicated to building meaningful relationships between Hospital and the community, while also seeking philanthropic dollars that help Montefiore Nyack achieve and maintain the highest level of care for the patients and community members who count on us as their community hospital. Montefiore Nyack is a 391-bed acute care medical and surgical hospital serving Rockland County and the lower Hudson Valley region. 2020 marked the Hospital’s 125th Anniversary of meeting the critical needs of people in the community. What started as a two-story house with nine beds, operating room, nurse’s parlor, reception area and dining room has today become a major regional medical center. Because of supporters like you, we were able to purchase state-of-the-art and provide the highest standard of care. Your support ensures that our healthcare team stays on the leading edge of treatment and technology. Because of your support, we can provide the best of care, close to home. Montefiore Nyack is the Hospital that YOU built!

🌟 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! 🌟

We’re sending a HUGE shoutout to our 48 incredible Rides & Strides teams — 585 members strong — who raised over $98,000 of our $180,000 total in support of the Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital! 💖

It was neck and neck until the very last day between the Pink Ladies and Team Get Busy Living, who took home the first and second place awards, while Team Kathy proudly took third place!! 🏆🥈

Your passion, energy, and dedication powered this year’s event and helped make a real difference for women in our community who need life-saving breast cancer screenings and care.

💖 Thank You for Making the 4th Annual Rides & Strides a Success! 💖

What an incredible day at Rockland Lake State Park! Together, we walked, rode, and celebrated hope, healing, and community — all in support of breast cancer awareness and early detection.

Thanks to our amazing community, this year’s event was an astounding success—with over 900 registered, 776 joining us in person, and together we hit our fundraising goal of $180,000!

That brings our 4-year total to more than $650,000 in support of the Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack. Because of you, lives will be touched, hope will be renewed, and barriers to care will continue to be broken.

🌉💖 Lighting the Way for Hope 💖🌉

Tonight, the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge will shine bright in pink lights in honor and celebration of our 4th Annual Rides & Strides, taking place this Saturday, October 25th at Rockland Lake State Park.
This radiant display is more than just a beautiful sight — it’s a symbol of hope, strength, and community. It reminds us of the importance of annual breast cancer screenings, and of the incredible impact we can make together.

✨ Proceeds from Rides & Strides directly benefit The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, helping to ensure that our most vulnerable and underserved women in the community receive the screenings and care they need — regardless of their ability to pay. 💕

This morning, the Foundation hosted its final Board meeting of the year, where we reflected on another impactful year of service and philanthropy. We extended heartfelt thanks to our dedicated Board Members — especially those rolling off the Board — for their leadership, time, and generosity. 🙏✨

A special thank-you to Brigitte Simon, President of the Montefiore Nyack Hospital Auxiliary, for joining us as we recognized the Auxiliary’s decades of volunteer service since the hospital’s inception. 💐👏

Meanwhile, the hospital was buzzing with excitement during our Annual Quality Fair and Pumpkin Carving Contest, showcasing the creativity and spirit of our incredible staff! 🎃👻
