Hello everyone! I have some openings on Tuesdays and a couple openings on Monday and Thursday afternoons. I’d love to take on a few more clients as summer ends and we head into fall!

I haven’t posted in quite some time, so I wanted to give a little update! My workplace now has a larger space in O’Fallon (combining what was our two St. Charles County offices in Cottleville and Wentzville), and for the time being this office is all mine! So SO grateful for this workplace, my coworkers, and the opportunity to come alongside others who need support healing pained and harmed parts of themselves. Not pictured: the lovely bookshelf in all its glory, with book friends waiting to be read and enjoyed.

I’ve been a PLPC for one year as of today. It feels like I just started, yet I’ve learned so much that I also feel pretty confident (at least in this moment😉). Being a therapist is honestly so hard to describe, because it’s not the exact same experience for all therapists, yet on the outside looking in we are kind of lumped into one group. What I CAN say for myself is that it’s one of my highest honors and privileges to be able to sit with clients in their hard and happy moments—the beautiful and the broken, the sacred and the unholy, the momentous and the mundane. Holding the tension of the gray area between what we see as black and white (while still honoring all three) is harder than it may sound! I cannot pretend to know even a tenth of what I hope to learn in my career, but I do know that I’m going to pray I always lean into those moments and trust both my clients and the process set before us.

If you’re in therapy, I’m proud of you. If you’re not in therapy but want to be, I’m still proud of you. Healing is possible! I have so much more to say that can’t be summed up in one social media post, but I’ll come back to those thoughts at a later date. 😊
