For the month of September all dedications will be dedicated to first responders who have lost their battle with mental health.
"RUCK WITH A PURPOSE “ Sept 21st - Sept 27th 2025
Because more than 22 Veterans & First Responders a day lose their battle with mental health my Service dog “Chipper“and I Ruck March a minimum of 22 miles a week and dedicate that weeks Ruck March to a Veteran/First Responder that has lost their battle with mental health.
Our “Purpose” is to put a name and a face to this ever increasing number so they are not forgotten.
This weeks "Ruck March"of 23.37 miles was a request and is dedicated to U.S. Border Patrol Agent, Special Operatons Supervisor Vincent "Vinny" Dulesky who lost his battle with mental health on April 22nd 2022.
Vinny was the supervisor for the Strategic Communications Department at Yuma Sector Headquarters where he headed the organization's public affairs efforts. After his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, he graduated from the U.S. Border Patrol Academy Class 706 and spent the early part of his career as an agent in Ajo, Arizona and as a supervisor in Blythe, California. Vinny was known throughout the Border Patrol for his infectious laugh, perpetual smile, and a willingness to help in time of need. Vincent J. Dulesky was born June 15, 1974, in St. Louis, Missouri, where he became an accomplished Gold Gloves boxer and earned a college wrestling scholarship. He completed his education at Arizona Western College and the University of Phoenix. As respected as he was in his professional life, nothing was more important to Vinny than his wife and family. He cherished his time at home, from supporting his children's activities to watching his beloved Kansas City Chiefs with daughter Gigi. Vinny also enjoyed working on home renovation projects, cooking, growing his own farm-to-table crops and taking care of his pet chickens.

For the month of September all dedications will be dedicated to first responders who have lost their battle with mental health.
"RUCK WITH A PURPOSE “ Sept 14th - Sept 20th 2025
Because more than 22 Veterans & First Responders a day lose their battle with mental health my Service dog “Chipper“and I Ruck March a minimum of 22 miles a week and dedicate that weeks Ruck March to a Veteran/First Responder that has lost their battle with mental health.
Our “Purpose” is to put a name and a face to this ever increasing number so they are not forgotten.
This weeks "Ruck March"of 22.29 miles is dedicated to Texas/Brady Firefighter EMT William "Bill" Fore whol lost his battle with mental health on March 15th 2023. He died by su***de while on duty.
He served as fire chief for Reagan County Fire and EMS from 2017 through 2019. The Reagan department expressed its sorrow in a Facebook post, describing Fore as “a smiling face with a big personality that will never be replaced.”
Fore is survived by his wife and children, the Concho Valley Homepage reported.

Because more than 22 Veterans & First Responders a day lose their battle with mental health my Service dog “Chipper“and I Ruck March a minimum of 22 miles a week and dedicate that weeks Ruck March to a Veteran/First Responder that has lost their battle with mental health.
Our “Purpose” is to put a name and a face to this ever increasing number so they are not forgotten.
This weeks "Ruck March"of 24.09 miles is dedicated to Mesa Arizona Paramedic Drew Wilcox who lost his battle with mental health on July 27th 2025. He was 27 years old.
Drew leaves behind memories cherished by the community. Though Drew may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Drew touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

For the month of September all dedications will be dedicated to first responders who have lost their battle with mental health.

Because more than 22 Veterans & First Responders a day lose their battle with mental health my Service dog “Chipper“and I Ruck March a minimum of 22 miles a week and dedicate that weeks Ruck March to a Veteran/First Responder that has lost their battle with mental health.

This weeks "Ruck March"of 24.70 miles is dedicated to Wichita KS, Police Officer Kylee Lawrence who lost her battle with mental health on July 11th 2025.
Kylee graduated from Goddard High School in 2014. She then graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She worked for Ellis County Jail for 2 years before joining the Wichita Police Department in 2020. She enjoyed mudding in her jeep, fishing, rescuing animals, but her favorite job was being an Aunt to her niece and nephews.

We finished the week the only way we know how, by doing the hard things.

Every mile, every step, every ounce of weight carried is a reminder that strength is built when we push beyond comfort. The finish line isn’t the end, it’s proof that we kept going when it got tough.

Here’s to ending the week strong and starting the next one even stronger.

This weeks "Ruck March"of 26.05 miles is dedicated to U.S Marine Corps Veteran LCPL Joseph "Joey" Jones who lost his battle with mental health on Oct 18th 2016.
Joey took great pride in being a Lance Corporal and a cryptologic Korean linguist in the United States Marine Corps. He completed his Korean language coursework at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California and was stationed at Camp Joseph A. Pendleton in San Diego, California where he served as a radio analyst. He is survived by his beloved wife Kristen and their daughter Tatum Rose, of Patterson, CA.

"RUCK WITH A PURPOSE “ Aug 17th - Aug 23rd 2025
Because more than 22 Veterans & First Responders a day lose their battle with mental health my Service dog “Chipper“and I Ruck March a minimum of 22 miles a week and dedicate that weeks Ruck March to a Veteran/First Responder that has lost their battle with mental health.
Our “Purpose” is to put a name and a face to this ever increasing number so they are not forgotten.
This weeks "Ruck March"of 23.88 miles is dedicated to U.S. Air Force combat veteran (Afghanistan) Captain Neal Taylor who lost his battle with mental health on March 29th 2012.
Captain Taylor was a pilot in the North Carolina Air National Guard for nearly 20 years. He was a member of the 145th Airlift Wing and the 156th squadron.
He was deployed to Afghanistan for several months prior. He returned home on March 23, 2012 and passed away a week later.
Neal was also in the squadron that flew to South Dakota to fight the wildfires at the end of June, 2012. His friends and comrades were among those who passed away fighting those fires. They are all resting in peace together now.

Because more than 22 Veterans & First Responders a day lose their battle with mental health my Service dog “Chipper“and I Ruck March a minimum of 22 miles a week and dedicate that weeks Ruck March to a Veteran/First Responder that has lost their battle with mental health.
Our “Purpose” is to put a name and a face to this ever increasing number so they are not forgotten.
This weeks "Ruck March"of 26.78 miles is dedicated to U.S. Navy Combat Veteran (Operation Iraqi Freedom) HM3 John Barrington
who lost his battle with mental health on Sept 13th 2021.
John was a US Navy veteran who served in the initial invasion of Iraq followed by Fallujah. He was a Marine Corps doc (corpsman) who suffered from PTSD and TBI that was 100% service connected.
John was the best husband and an even better father. He was so good at everything he did. He was a 4-time local elected official in our state, which he was so proud of. He was proudest of the title “Dad” (Husband and Doc were close seconds).
He was a beloved leader in his community, veteran, husband, and father.

Because more than 22 Veterans & First Responders a day lose their battle with mental health my Service dog “Chipper“and I Ruck March a minimum of 22 miles a week and dedicate that weeks Ruck March to a Veteran/First Responder that has lost their battle with mental health.
Our “Purpose” is to put a name and a face to this ever increasing number so they are not forgotten.
This weeks "Ruck March"of 26.16 miles is dedicated to U.S Army combat Veteran (Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom) SPC Brent Rimer. Who lost his battle with mental health on on 2/10/2018 – The worst day of my life. Part of me died with him…for fifteen years we fought to help him heal from the War he bright home with him after serving with the 3rd ID in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom…He had such a good heart and loved to make people smile and laugh…He has five children and a daughter who passed before him. He battled PTSD and became a shell of who he was before he left us …He fought but in the end he couldn’t defeat what he brought home… (shared by his mother)

This weeks "Ruck March"of 23.52 miles is dedicated to U.S. Marine corps combat veteran, Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom,
CPL Charles R. Ickes III, who lost his battle with mental health on Aug 13th 2016.
Charlie served a tour in Afghanistan where he was the machine gunner up in the turret of a vehicle sweeping for IEDs. After active duty (as a veteran) he was going to school at Universal Technical Institute in Exton, PA to be an auto mechanic. Charlie was always a happy guy with a great smile till he came back from Afghanistan. He was everyone’s friend and would do anything for others. Charlie had a very kind heart. He liked riding his Harley and dirt bike in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.”
