Schildknecht Funeral Home, O'Fallon's only continuously family owned and operated funeral home, located at 301 S. The Schildknecht Family is now in it's third generation of service to the community. We are committed to caring and serving the needs of families in our community. We are able to conveniently serve O'Fallon, Fairview Heights, Scott Air Force Base, Lebanon, Shiloh and the surrounding metro east communities. Meet Schildknecht: A lifelong O’Fallon local, Funeral Director Curtis L. Schildknecht graduated from OTHS in 1983 and has since served as a firefighter, City Treasurer, School Board member, Chamber President, and Deputy Coroner. Today, he brings that same dedication to serving families at our funeral home.

Married to Christine, dad to Emily, and active at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Curtis’s roots in our community run deep.

We couldn’t be prouder to have him on our team.
