We have a small white barn on the property, and a big vision for what it can become.

Right now, as you can see, it’s in pretty rough shape. We’re looking specifically for people who love to build and bring spaces back to life to help turn this space into something really special!

Whether you’re experienced in construction, woodworking, repairs, or just willing to lend a hand, we’d love to connect. If you’re interested, send us a message and let’s chat!

Friends,

Creating our future home is an experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s taken countless hours of dreaming, researching, planning, and refining—made possible only through the wisdom and dedication of our KSBH Board, the Canning Family, our brilliant creative team at Dovetail, and the incredible experts who have stepped forward to guide us.

Today, I received the final blueprints for our Farmhouse therapy suite. I wasn’t prepared for the emotion that hit me when I saw “Karla Smith Behavioral Health” printed boldly across the plans. In that moment, it all became real. This isn’t just a vision—it’s happening. And it’s more meaningful than I can fully express.

Michelle Braddock—thank you for your brilliance, your patience, and the care you’ve poured into every detail. You have truly brought the Farmhouse vision into focus in the most beautiful way.

Friends, we are building this for you. Mental health touches every life and every family—sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, but always meaningfully. The Farm will be a place to retreat, to feel, to heal, and to ultimately step forward, stronger and more whole.

Thank you for believing in this mission. What’s coming will change lives—yours, your family’s, and our community’s.

Dear Friends,

Today at KSBH, our hearts and prayers remain with Cambree and the York family. Like many in our community, we may not have known Cambree personally, yet we have followed her story closely and have been praying for her family, for all who loved her, for our community, and for the medical team who cared for her. Cambree’s life has left a lasting imprint on many hearts.

Moments like this can be incredibly difficult to process, for both young and old. Grief can come in many forms, and no one should feel they have to carry it alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling and would benefit from a safe, confidential space to talk, please know that KSBH is here for you. Our therapy team will provide support to anyone impacted by the loss of Cambree at no cost.

We are holding this family and our entire community close in our hearts.

With care,
Emily and the KSBH Team
