Hearts in Faith is now accepting nominations for our annual and final Christmas Blessing.

If you know a single mom who could use an extra touch of love and support this holiday season, we would be honored to hear her story. This tradition has always been about spreading hope, joy, and faith to those who give so much of themselves to their families.

Let’s make this last Christmas Blessing one to remember.

Every year, the holidays can feel heavy for single moms and many silently wonder how they’ll make Christmas memorable for their children.

This year, for our 10th Annual Christmas Blessing, we’re honoring their strength and love by setting a bold goal:
✨ To bless 10 Single Moms and their children with gifts, joy, and a reminder that they are not alone.

These women give everything they have all year long. This is our chance to give back.

Too often, Black women carry the weight of the world while raising children, navigating systemic barriers, and managing daily stress with little to no support. For single Black mothers, the emotional toll can be even heavier.

Support is necessary—not optional.

During , let’s uplift the voices of Black single moms and remind them: you don’t have to do it alone.

Last night, had the privilege of recognizing our very own Dr. Leslie Davis as the Mental Health Advocate of the Year in Las Vegas. In a room filled with powerhouse women who are leading change, Dr. Davis stood out for her unwavering commitment to empowering others through healthy relationships and mental wellness.

As a relationship therapist, speaker, and advocate, Dr. Davis has dedicated her life’s work to helping individuals, particularly single moms, to heal, grow, and build stronger connections. Her impact reaches far beyond the therapy room—through her speaking engagements, educational content, and advocacy, she is transforming lives and communities.

Congratulations, Dr. Davis! Your passion and purpose are truly changing the world.

Today our Founder, Dr. Leslie Davis shared her experience of being a single mom and becoming a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a group of almost 200 students at a local middle school. Dr. D is proud to inspire the next generation of counselors and to encourage them to never allow the tough moments to deter them from achieving their goals.
