🚲On 7.20.25, we collaborated with Big Shark Bicycle Company for the 11th Annual Tour des Sharks Customer Appreciation Ride at the STL Foundry!

Dr. Tyler Detmer was on-site providing post-race recovery services to cyclists at the finish line. He was assisted by our DPT Learners, Brandon Jenson and Ethan Patience.

Thank you to everyone who stopped in to our booth! It was a wonderful day in St. Louis!

On 6.28.25, our WashU Med PT clinical providers (Beth Hughes, Gretchen Vandercar, & Carrie Mosley) participated in the Walk to Defeat ALS in Forest Park alongside the WashU ALS Center. This event directly benefited the ALS Association. The ALS Association provides support for patients, caregivers, researchers and providers through a difficult diagnosis. It was a great day to be !

🎉Congratulations to Dr. Kayley Stock who was selected from a very large pool of applicants to serve on the ANPT Consumer and Care Partner Taskforce. The purpose of the task force is to increase the visibility and impact of neurologic physical therapy to patients, caregivers, physicians through review and creation of resources. She was chosen based on her exceptional clinical experience, passion for improving care for those with neurologic health conditions and outstanding teamwork and dedication.

🎉Congratulations to Aubrey Masterson, PT, DPT, and Ashley Gisher, PTA, who recently earned their USA Weightlifting Level 1 certifications! A USA Weightlifting coaching certification has long been considered the gold standard for weightlifting education and knowledge.

These certificates are granted after the completion of a continuing education course that expands participants' knowledge of different weightlifting movements and techniques. Movements and techniques include foundational movements, such as squats and presses, and advanced techniques, including Olympic lifts. This certification allows our providers to better understand the demands of athletes by combining our Movement System expertise to assist in their return to sport.

This national award recognizes outstanding clinical practice interaction between physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who are a part of a highly functional PT-PTA Team.

Researchers at are seeking volunteers determine how music and singing can enhance walking ability among people with Parkinson disease. You may qualify if you are 30 or older and right handed or ambidextrous. Participation includes 4 evaluation sessions: two sessions are an imaging session with an MRI.
