Tuesday was fun!!! And educational!!! Dee & Marv presented their beautiful slide show from Brazil! And Marci Zegers had awesome slides from their trip to France!!! Two totally different countries—both spectacular in scenery, history and culture!! We sure enjoyed both of their travel adventures!! Thank you Dee, Marv & Marci for sharing your afternoon with us!!

We can’t get enough of these guys!!! Glad to have Dickie back after his surgery, Gary skipped out of work early from out of town & Nolan came to O’Neill from Amelia!! We really appreciate their dedication!! THANK YOU!! 🎶 🎼 🎵

Wednesday we tried to see how many things we could fit into one afternoon—-bingo—-Catholic Mass—-Dining Room Devotions and the beautiful music of Dickie, Gary & Nolan!! Another great day at The Evergreen!! Do you notice anything different????

Thursday was adventure day!! We headed to Ewing for a very delicious lunch and sweets at Double H Bakery!! Lots of smiling faces—-on both sides of the counter!! When we got back we relaxed and watched “Seabiscuit” and munched on buttered popcorn in our movie theater!!

What a treat we got today!! Summerland 1st graders came to O’Neill to host bingo for us!! They did a great job!! They made butterfly door decorations and delivered to each resident!! Then they dined with their sack lunches in the community room & watched a little movie!! How thoughtful and special their time spent with us was!! Happy summer to a great bunch of kiddos ( and super teachers!!)!!! THANK YOU!!!
