Two key players are your thyroid hormones and estrogen. Thyroid hormones help regulate metabolism and energy in every cell, including brain cells. 💫 Want to feel strong, vibrant, and youthful as you age?💫

The key to lasting energy and balance starts with a healthy endocrine system.

One of our favorite things about chili is how every recipe has its own spin. This one is a perfect base to get creative with the ingredients. 🌶️

Ingredients:

1 tbsp olive oil

2 medium onions, diced

2 bell peppers, diced

2 large carrots, peeled and diced

2 celery ribs, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 lbs ground turkey (swap with mushrooms or two cans of kidney beans for a plant-based option)

1 15 oz can tomato sauce

1 15 oz can diced tomatoes

1 6 oz can tomato paste

2 cups broth (beef, chicken, or vegetable)

1 tbsp chili powder

Season to taste with fine sea salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, celery seed, and ground black pepper

Let’s get cooking! 👩‍🍳
Heat the oil in a large dutch oven or pot. Add the onions, peppers, carrots, and celery. Cook until very softened, about 10 minutes. Add the garlic and protein and cook until no pink remains. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until thickened, about 1.5 to 2 hours. Add more water as needed.

Serve topped with avocado slices, diced onions, or your favorite dairy-free shredded cheese. 🤗
