Independence Plus recently partnered with Endeavor Health's Pulmonary Team for the annual Hustle Chicago® Stair Climb to the top of 875 N. Michigan Ave.! Congratulations to our Endeavor Health team members on completing the full climb, which is 94 floors or 1,632 steps!

We are proud to take part in the effort to raise funds for Respiratory Health Association’s programs, which support people living with lung disease and promote clean air. Fundraising is still open! Today is Rare Disease Day, an international event designed to bring awareness to the more than 6,000 rare diseases that affect as many as 300 million people around the globe. In the US, a disease is considered ‘rare’ if it occurs in less than 200,000 people. Approximately 80% of rare diseases have genetic origins and 50% affect children. No cures and few treatments are available for the majority of these diseases. At Independence Plus, many of our patients are dealing with rare diseases.
