Congratulations to funeral director Sarah, who just returned from Napa Valley after graduating from the National Funeral Directors Association National Emerging Leaders Program (NELP)! 🌟

NELP selects only 20 funeral professionals nationwide for a year of leadership development, collaboration, and innovation in funeral service. While at the event, Sarah also had the honor of speaking on the Leadership Panel, sharing her experiences and insights with fellow professionals.

💛 You made it through June. 💛

Whether this month was heavy or healing, stormy or still—we’re grateful you walked through it with us.

Each post this month was shared with care, knowing that grief doesn't disappear just because the calendar flips. Our hope was to offer small moments of comfort, connection, and reflection—and we hope something here helped you feel seen.
Grief is not a problem to solve. It’s a story we carry. And the way we carry it, together, makes all the difference.

As we turn toward July, we invite you to bring forward the gentle truths this month offered:
– That love endures.
– That joy and sorrow can coexist.
– That your story, and your healing, matter.

🌼 Before we go—what was your favorite post, prompt, or takeaway this month? Let us know in the comments. Your words help guide what we share next.
Thank you for being here. We’re honored to be in community with you. 🤍

Imagine asking your person one thing right now.
A repair tip? Parenting advice? Just to sit in silence with you?
Drop your answer in the comments—what would you ask if you had five minutes?

The Clues They Left Behind

Sometimes the people we love leave clues about who they were and how they loved—
In handwritten notes. Grocery lists. A perfectly organized toolbox.
What quiet evidence of their life have you found that still brings you comfort?

06/27/2025

Grief can show up in unexpected ways—tightness in your chest, restlessness, a sense of dread. It doesn’t always look like tears. Sometimes it feels like anxiety or fear of what comes next without the person you’ve lost.

Have you ever experienced grief like this? You're not alone. Feel free to share your thoughts or reflections in the comments. 💬

Grief Has No Expiration Date

You don’t “get over it.” You live through it.
Whether it’s been 10 days or 10 years, your grief is valid and welcome here.

When You’re Not Sure What to Say

You don’t have to have the perfect words to support someone grieving.
Try:
• “I don’t know what to say, but I’m here.”
• “I miss them too.”
• “I remember the time when…”

Being present matters more than being perfect.
