Welcome!
At Live Oak Health, we find that physical and emotional discomfort represent a lack of balance in the body. Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Acupuncture, Herbal Prescriptions, Massage Therapy, and age-old nutrition and lifestyle hacks, address the foundational aspects of health.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an integral part of Oriental, or Eastern, medicine with a 5000 year history of effectively helping with conditions such as headaches, anxiety/depression, digestive disorders, nerve pain, reproductive health, even weight loss! By combining acupuncture points into an individualized “treatment formula”, the whisker-thin needles stimulate your nervous system to balance and regulate your body’s own intelligent internal healing processes.
Chinese Herbal formulas are synergistic combinations of 2 to over 20 individual herbs. They are prescribed in amazing specificity to each person’s full presentation, not by 1 or 2 symptoms alone. Five people could come in with headaches and each one would get a different formula! Herbal medicine is an excellent way to keep your treatments working non-stop for you in between office sessions.
Prescriptions are available in many different forms such as tinctures and teas, capsule, topical, or v**e.
Additionally, 100% Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils are combined into Chinese Herbal Formula analogs as another very powerful tool of a healthful lifestyle.
Massage Therapy
Our Pain Relief Specialists relieve stuckness, pain, and soreness by first calming the sympathetic nervous system (your fight, flight, or freeze response) and then using that calm, parasympathetic state (the rest and digest time) to allow manual resetting of physical imbalances. It is one of the most effective measures you can take to ensure that you live and perform at your personal best.

Nutritional Guidance
Chinese Medicine puts value on literally everything we do, including what, when, and how we eat and drink. Using food as medicine is a powerful way to take control over your health multiple times per day. We can work within guidelines set by your Doctor or come up with a new plan to support your goals, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve your quality of life in surprising ways.
Coaching - When you make the decision to adopt a new eating style, changing a lifetime of habits may seem overwhelming. I'm equipped to coach you through self-awareness and value-building to make this nutritional adventure efficient, economical, sustainable …and FUN!!
Toxin-Free
Live Oak Health is located in an integrative medicine doctor's office. We are completely organic and toxin-free.

Rose, a Wisconsin farmland native, completed her education in Therapeutic Massage and Asian Bodywork in 2015 from East West Healing Arts Institute in Milwaukee. She was one of my first massage students and I was completely blown away by her personality, dedication to learning, professionalism, and of course, care and respect for her clients.
Rose is skilled at true deep tissue massage and has advanced certifications in Contemporary Cupping Therapy. Her centered focus will leave you refreshed and your condition improved.
“I was and am fascinated by how the body not only holds and carries tension, but also inspired by its ability to right itself with the help of therapeutic massage. Everything is connected: front to back, top to bottom, shoulder to hip, etc. My intent in each treatment is to evaluate these connections and address the root of your pain.”
