The Genesis Therapy Center is an established, not-for-profit counseling center providing collaborative, diverse and professional services.

Since our founding in 1987, The Genesis Therapy Center has provided high quality assessment, counseling and consultation services to individuals, couples, families and organizations. We continue to grow our practice with the same compassion, dedication and inclusion we have with our clients, donors and our community. The Genesis Therapy Center is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation. Tax-deductible donations are encouraged through our Community Care Program, which provides services (on a sliding fee scale) to those in the communities we serve who have limited income and limited ability to pay. From Naomi Effort: a $120 gift certificate to any Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurants and 4 tickets to ride the Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier and (a $192 value); from the Chicago Stars women’s professional soccer team: 4 North Goal tickets for any 2006 regular home match at Northwestern’s Martin Stadium (a $130 value); from Hanifa Khan: 2 tickets and a parking pass to the Chicago Botanic Gardens (a $56 value); from PRP Wine International: a 90-minute wine-sampling experience for up to 12 people with 8 bottles of wine and a wine consultant (a $300 value). Check out these alarming statistics: 145.1 million people aged 12 and over have illicitly used drugs in their lifetime, and 134.7 million Americans aged 12 and over have consumed alcohol in the past month. March 16-22 is designated as National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week and is an annual health observance to educate youth on the science of drug use and addiction.
