The Genesis Therapy Center is an established, not-for-profit counseling center providing collaborative, diverse and professional services.

Since our founding in 1987, The Genesis Therapy Center has provided high quality assessment, counseling and consultation services to individuals, couples, families and organizations. We continue to grow our practice with the same compassion, dedication and inclusion we have with our clients, donors and our community. The Genesis Therapy Center is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation. Tax-deductible donations are encouraged through our Community Care Program, which provides services (on a sliding fee scale) to those in the communities we serve who have limited income and limited ability to pay. The Genesis Therapy Center is excited to celebrate Black History Month in February 2026. This year’s theme, "A Century of Black History Commemorations," marks 100 years since the establishment of Black History Month. This annual celebration commemorates Black Americans’ achievements, honors their contributions to the United States and the world, and recognizes their crucial role in U.S. history. Black history finds its way not only into the schools of the American nation but also into cultural heritage sites (i.e., museums, archives, libraries, parks, etc.), public squares, workplaces, houses of worship, and homes across the land and across the oceans.

The Genesis Therapy Center is seeking sponsors for our Spring “Fun and Games Fundraiser,” scheduled for April 27, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Prestwick Country Club, 601 Prestwick Drive, Frankfort, IL. The 21-and-over event will feature a variety of activities, including trivia, a wine pull, music, raffles, a buffet, an open bar, and more. Three sponsorship levels are available: $250, $500, and $ 1,000.
