We are pleased to introduce Dr. Uma Ayer to the practice!

Dr. Ayer joined the team at Oak Forest Dental Wellness in July 2025. She earned her D.M.D. at University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Afterwards, Dr. Ayer completed a general practice residency at the Mare Island VA Clinic in California. She also has experience working for an AI company interpreting dental X-rays helping with AI diagnostic accuracy.

Dr. Ayer currently resides in Chicago with her husband and their dog Miley. In her spare time, she likes to explore the city, try new restaurants, play piano and dance.
Dr. Ayer will be covering for Dr. Jonelle when Dr. Jonelle is on maternity leave. Dr. Jonelle is expecting her second child, a daughter due in September.

🎶Happy Thursday🙌🏼

The team had a fun outing watching Dr. Jonelle’s dad’s band. Dr. Jonelle’s dad is also a dentist and he has played piano and keyboard all his life.

Dr. Joe’s band is called “My Dad’s Cover Band” and they play at local bars and restaurants in the Southwest suburbs. The team got to enjoy delicious food and drinks and even got up to dance! 🪩

A Winter photo dump! 🦷

With a busy start to the new year, we’d like to look back at our winter fun!

Starting off with our annual trip to Midwinter! Where we learned new skills to improve our behind-the-scenes office flow and to improve our patients experience! 😁
Afterwards we had pir hand in some friendly office comepetition at Puttery with our friends from Dr. Joe’s Frankfort office ⛳️

Then we grabbed all our shamrock decor, green tinsel, and donned our most festive gear (and winter wear) for our 3rd year in the Oak Forest Fleadh parade! ☘️🥳

We hope everyone has had a beautiful start to their New Year and Spring! We cannot wait to see what other fun adventures the year has in store for us 😉
