Let's talk about Pillar 2: Regulation. This is about shifting out of chronic survival mode.

Your autonomic nervous system has two branches:
- Sympathetic (fight-or-flight): Activated during stress, danger, or perceived threat.
- Parasympathetic (rest-and-digest): Activated during rest, recovery, and healing.

When you're stuck in survival mode, your sympathetic nervous system is dominant. Your body is constantly preparing for danger, which means:
- Shallow breathing
- Tense muscles
- Poor digestion
- Inflammation
- Fatigue

Pillar 2 focuses on:
- Improving autonomic balance
- Reducing fight-or-flight dominance
- Improving parasympathetic tone
- Increasing adaptability
- State control
