IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is the Northwest's premier physical and hand therapy group. Originally settled by the Dutch, Oak Harbor has a quaint air about it.

commemorates the day that enslaved people in Galveston, Texas received word that the Union had won the Civil War, and they were now free. Word of this newfound freedom came two and a half years after the issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation, and the nearly 250,000 enslaved people in Galveston were one of the last groups to learn of their freedom following the War's conclusion.

Though the Emancipation Proclamation stipulated that enslaved people must be freed if the Union won the war, many Confederate states and slaveholders refused to release their slaves until forced to comply by Union soldiers.

The commemoration of Juneteenth as a historic event represents our progress in the continuous path toward a more perfect union and the efforts to fulfill the promises of our founding documents. The path to creating a just society is not easy, but we must continue to move forward.
