Today we celebrate 100 years of an extraordinary life!

Happy 100th Birthday to Carl Beverage, a true American hero and beloved member of our community!

At just 18 years old, he answered the call to serve in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. His courage and sacrifice earned him the distinguished Purple Heart — a testament to his bravery and love of country.

After returning home, he continued serving his community in so many ways — as a skilled TV repairman back when families gathered around their very first television sets, and later as a friendly, familiar face behind the wheel as a bus driver. He built a life defined by hard work, dedication, and quiet strength.

But beyond his service and career, his greatest pride has always been his family. A devoted father, and grandfather, he has built a legacy of love that spans generations.

Today, we honor not just 100 years of life — but 100 years of courage, commitment, resilience, laughter, and wisdom. Thank you for your service, your stories, and the example you continue to set for all of us.

Happy Birthday Carl! We salute you, we honor you and we love you!!

The Olympic spirit is shining bright at OHP—and let’s just say the competition is fierce. Our hallway bobsledders reached record‑breaking speeds and the tabletop curling teams showed the kind of focus usually reserved for bingo jackpots. The laughter was loud, the glory was priceless, and the bragging rights will last all year! We’re already gearing up for the next round of events, including snowball javelin and ice hockey, so the fun is far from over!

One of our residents introduced us to her ventriloquist, Charlie, who seems to be making himself right at home. Charlie sits perched like a tiny wooden gentleman, always dressed for the occasion and ready with a silent opinion. It's impossible not to smile when you see Charlie keeping watch. Little moments like this add charm to our days and reminds us how much personality lives within our community!
