Narcan isn’t “just for addicts.”
It’s for the toddler who accidentally gets into something dangerous.
It’s for the person whose drink was tampered with.
It’s for the teenager who made one impulsive decision.
It’s for the parent, sibling, friend, or grandparent who accidentally took too much.
Overdose does not discriminate — and compassion shouldn’t either.
Narcan saves lives. Plain and simple.
Just like CPR or a fire extinguisher, you hope you never need it… but if that moment comes, you’ll be thankful it’s there.
We need less judgment and more people staying alive.
And for the people saying “what about insulin?” — this was never supposed to be a competition over who deserves care more. Making Narcan free doesn’t take insulin away from someone else. The real issue is that lifesaving medication should be accessible and affordable for everyone. We should not be deciding who deserves to survive a medical emergency.
Because of that, you can always get free Narcan through NRG5NP. If you see me at events, stop by — I’ll make sure you leave with it.
