Amanda graduated from the PA Institute of Massage Therapy in 2000 and currently practices at Island Healing Chiropractic & Massage in Oak Island, NC.

She performs Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Cupping Massage, and Raindrop Technique. I enjoyed this interactive “Orthopedic Cupping and Stretching” continuing education class today by Dr Joi Edwards of Owlchemy Education.
I’ve been a Massage Therapist 25 years and practicing cupping massage for 4 1/2 years and can always learn more.
My clients love cupping massage incorporated into their hands-on massage work (I get to multi-task too) so I decided to continue growing that craft. Come try it out and feel for yourself.

Our Story

Amanda Hoelk graduated from The Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy in 2000 and has years of experience at a Certified Massage Therapist and Chiropractic Assistant. She enjoys performing multiple techniques and creating a “hybrid” massage based on the individual’s needs. One of her clients calls her massage style for them “a relaxing, deep tissue massage.”

Amanda moved from Colorado to NOVA in 2013 with her Labrador and her husband, Nathaniel to open Urban Mattress in Vienna. They welcomed their daughter in June of 2018 and life has never been the same! Amanda’s other interests include being outside, bird-watching, singing and performing in a local acoustic duo band.
