The original WETSU is, of course, the house on the lake in Traverse City. Since I was young I wanted to have a cottage, one that was closer to Chicago than a 6-hour drive.

In fact, for years I’d go antiquing, find, and buy, things that would be perfect for the cottage…that I didn’t have yet. When I finally found this place I had amassed everything but mattress.

Styling tip—In order to get the most out of the dramatic silhouette of the pant, I think a more fitted top or sweater looks best. I have worn an oversized sweater for a more casual look, and a half-tuck helps break up the bagginess.
