Limiting beliefs are negative thoughts and assumptions about yourself. The negative voice in your head comes from many different sources, including childhood experiences, societal influences, internalized criticisms, and more.
Itâs easy to pick up negativity from many places in a society that has a dysfunctional fixation on getting the âperfectâ body.
Itâs also understandable that while youâre trying to motivate yourself to follow a weight-loss program, you may have some internal resistance in the face of hard work.
