A Mother's Touch

A Mother's Touch I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, A CAPPA Certified Labor Doula, and last, Sima Leah is amazing! She was encouraging and sensitive.

I turned to her at a vulnerable time in my life after a bad experience with a local lactation consultant. I was at the point of giving up breastfeeding. Then I remembered how patient and helpful Sima Leah had been when I first met her after the birth of my first child; and I decided to email her. She responded to each email, patiently giving her suggestions and thoughts. Even from abroad she guide

d me with techniques that helped me persevere in a challenging situation. She is both kind and professional.

I was honored to have sima leah duato as my doula, my delivery with her was amazing compared to being with a midwife alone she heard me.was there for me .and continued after to be there for me. When you're in pain you can't represent yourself she did that for me all i had to do was concentrate on my delivery of my baby,i sufer from bad delivery past experiences where midwives pushed for their convenience for me to have the baby early so they can have Easter vacation. Epidural so they could go home and I should have the baby already. One even sent me home telling me I wasn't going to have the baby right now but I had to be rushed to the hospital later and they found that I was missing water and that baby was born with birth defects, when a midwife pushes you to have epidurals it's time to bring in the doula and the best is sima leah to this day the baby that she was my doula was the best delivery I've ever had the pain in my legs she massaged away if I have pain in my back she was there for me the point is she was there for me.

Introducing a bottle in the first hours is never a good or necessary idea. Ask about alternative ways to supplement that protect breastfeeding, and then see an IBCLC pronto.

Misconceptions about infant feeding and sleep are common! If you expect your baby to sleep long stretches and eat every three hours, you may panic when he or she does not conform to this idea. You may worry that your baby is not getting enough milk or that there is some other problem. Healthy newborn babies nurse a lot, and unpredictably. It is important to know what to expect.

There is so much of like to share with you about your reproductive and general maternal health.

Western medicine does keep us sick in so many ways!

Western, or allopathic, medicine is NOT about healing - except maybe in orthopedic medicine.

Most often allopathic medicine is about treating symptoms and NOT the root cause of your issue.

Anyway, I want to remind you that only you know your body better than anyone.

Get away from the noise of the medical system and listen to your body.

I have nothing to sell you, but I beg you to step away from the institution of medicine and to turn into health.

For most of us, our body was created to work perfectly. To have so many dependent on pills for so many things is not what our bodies need.
