CONNECTION. To each other and the Earth. Especially to our Selves, body, mind and spirit. It's hard lately. Lots of distraction and trauma coming from unexpected places. Creating fear and isolation.

LONGING to feel a safe connection? Yearning for a place where you can just BE with your whole self? Process Painting helps bring you back. But it's not just the Process alone, it's being with the group as we create connection to our wholeness and witness each other reconnect.

CREATING. It's in this spirit that I invite you to join us for creative adventure into ourselves. Come paint with us at Weekly Open Studios and/or Saturday workshops. I want everyone who wants to be here to be able to attend, so I've cut fees in half and have a few scholarships to offer.

MEETING. We meet every Wednesday, 12-3 for the Weekly Open Studio. Please reserve your space by Tuesday, 5 pm. Saturday Workshops meet from 10-3 about once a month. Please reserve by Thursday, 5 pm. No experience necessary. Complete details and registration info is on the website:

Self care has become really important. Reconnecting with your Self on a deep level helps to navigate these turbulent times with grace and confidence. Creative expression has never been more important. I've decided to do what I can to help, and am offering Weekly Open Studios and Saturday Workshops to provide a safe space for us to process, express and connect. Creating and strengthening community is paramount right now. Please come paint with us. I've reduced the fees by 50% and am also offering some scholarships. We need to be together. Please join us. Dearest friends and fellow painters,

My feelings this morning are beyond words. I don't know how to process the despair and disappointment after yesterday's results. I need to paint and I need to paint with my community. We need to access flow again to remember ourselves and reconnect with love in a safe environment.

Please join me on Saturday afternoon from 1-5 for a healing session of creativity and recovery from all the stress. Email me to reserve a spot. There's no charge. If you want to donate, fine. I just want and need to be with you.

Please plan to attend the opening talk if you decide to come. We'll paint as long as the energy flows (I'm thinking 4-5) and end with a closing circle. I'll have plenty of sage on hand.

I hope to reconnect with you on Saturday.

The Wednesday Journal wrote a very generous article about my studio when I moved my practice to Oak Park in 2009. I loved being part of the Arts District. I served on the Board and chaired committees that produced art festivals and street fairs. Life is quieter now and I'm working in my home studio, offering Coaching sessions and facilitating Process Painting classes and workshops. There's an Open Studio this Saturday from 12-3. You might say Terry Mueller - who celebrated the grand opening of her Creative Changes: Process Painting and Healing Arts Studio in January - was born again.
