Maintenance Employee of the Month-Mark Davis.
Mark was born in Norton, Va, in 1973. His family consisted of his father and mother, older brother and himself. They moved to Oak Ridge in 1976 and he graduated from Oak Ridge HIgh School in 1992. After graduating, Mark went to school to become a talented auto mechanic. He enjoyed being a mechanic until 2023 when he joined the Canterfield staff.
Mark has two wonderful sons, one he adopted from Ethiopia, and enjoys the outdoors and hiking with them.
Mark is an asset to Canterfield in several ways. His caring heart makes him a favorite among residents and staff. His dependability is unsurpassed by others, and we are grateful for his loyalty.
Mark says that helping the residents and getting to know others is his favorite part of his job at Canterfield.

This Father’s Day was the best. We celebrated our fathers and father figures with a cook out. We grilled hamburgers and had all the fixens. Or fathers and their guests left with full hearts and stomachs to match.
