It’s been a while since I have posted. Life gets busy as a full time birth doula, mom of 4, and wife. 😅 It has been SUCH a busy year filled with dozens of births, placentas, and childbirth classes, as well as my own TTC journey! As some of you already know, we are expecting baby #5 in June! We are super excited and cannot wait to welcome this sweet little one. For my family, I am taking a couple of years off from births and teaching childbirth classes. BUT, I will continue taking placenta encapsulation clients again starting September 1st, but only in limited numbers per month. 🤗

For anyone affected by Hurricane Helene, East Tennessee Midwifery and Yonder Midwifery are joining forces to provide free midwifery services for those in need. The birthing suite shown here is located in Oak Ridge, TN, and is available as a safe and welcoming space for those who can no longer give birth where they planned. We are also offering prenatal and postpartum care to those in need and birth services in other safe and accessible locations. My Story & Philosophy

I began my journey of caring for families during their transition into parenthood after spending more than a decade studying childbirth, caring for friends and family, and having my own four children. I truly respect and honor the process of childbirth, and I’m passionate about helping families blossom and grow as they set sail on their own journey of transformation.

Birth and postpartum are a sacred and transformative time. As a growing family goes through this wondrous change, I act as an experienced guide supporting you and your partner in having an empowering and positive birth and postpartum experience, as you define it. I help orchestrate a peaceful space for the birth of your new baby by ensuring you feel safe, listened to, and respected all while providing evidence-based information and non-medical pain management techniques. Once you arrive home, I continue helping families thrive until they are ready to set sail on their own.
