Everyone, please welcome Janie Carson to the DPD team! Janie comes to us as an experienced Support Coordinator from Pennsylvania.

Janie started with DPD as a Support Coordinator on 10/20/2025. She has her BA in Psychology from IUP Indiana University, with a minor in Sociology, and additional classes in Criminology.

When asked what she loves about the position, Janie told us that, "I love working with people and empowering others to see their worth, strengths and positive attributes. Working as an SC in the past, I really enjoyed helping others reach goals and witness their progress. I came across so many great attitudes and cheerful personalities in the community and in the office. Helping others is very rewarding, and I am excited to work in this field again! I am especially happy to work with all the kind and compassionate staff at DPD CC! The atmosphere here is very professional, warm and welcoming!"

Something people may not know about Janie: "I enjoy working out, creating art, crocheting, volunteering, gardening and going out to eat, watching movies with my children and walking in nature."

She also told us that, "I have 3 children Emily, Ben and Blake. My husband Dave and I enjoy spending time with our kids and 3 pets (dog-Charlie and cats-Bubba and Boo). Our daughter started college this Fall in Boston, and we have had a great time visiting with her there and other places in Massachusetts; including Salem. We enjoying traveling as a family and especially visiting beach towns or popular, historical areas in the US."
